the everyday projects

Everyday Iran is the most widespread mobile photographic project in Iran inspired by Everyday Africa. The account features photos taken in Iran. How ever young this project has turned into a national movement with active thousands associated from 300 cities and 30 province in Iran and a viewer number of millions around the world. This project is curated by five Iranian photographers.

By displaying mobile phone images from our day-to-day lives we hope to work against the stereotypes and visual tropes that are so prevalent about the region in the mainstream media.
